there is a girl named sookying....
received a namecard on valentines day...
asking her whether she is interested in doing modelling...
she was abit shocked and not knowing wat to do...
she left her hp no. with the photographer (as stated in the name card)....
she wondered what qualities did the photographer saw in her....
she is like not tall, not that pretty with couple of pimples on her face....
but she was tinking...since i have given her the number....jus let it be bahx...
weeks passed, in fact more than 1 month +...
she has clearly forgotten abt this incident...since it hasnt been on her mind...
on the 23rd march....her hp rang...
clerk : "hello, is this sookying...i am calling from imodel....rmb sometime ago my college passed u a name card??"
sookying : "huh?? wat name card??" *thinks of something else...thinking of some recruit express namecard...
clerk : " erm...rmb a name card i models??... we would like to ask you come for an interview on wed...it is okay for you??"
sookying : "ohh~~....okay...." suddenly rmbs of that incident...
*hangs up
she beings to wonder.....and tries to recall where she put the name card...
and starts to tink...is it a fairytale or something??....
she was wondering shld she go??...is it some scam company??....
or shld she give it a try...since not many ppl have the chance...
she discussed it with mum and dad....
so they decided to give it a try...since she has to be accompanied by a parent...
on the 25th march wed 6 pm....
with her mum, she went to the modelling company....
the company looks decent and professional....
after listening to the man toked for like 2 and 1/2 hr...
she understands that it is a veri decent and a modelling company of quite a reputation...
she noes that wat are her rights...and how the company systems works...
she feels comfortable with the company and decided she will become a freelance model...
she can choose to reject or accept the assignments....and can accomodate to her school timing...
she will have to do up a portfolio...
which may cost her 600+ for 5 diff style with 70++ photos taken...
she being to wonder on the way home....
is it worth it??....a portfolio for 600+....
will she be able to earn it back??...
will the experiences she gain from there worth this amount??....
but anyway...she has agreed with it and going to get her portfolio shots on next fri...
she will den see how does it goes....
modelling??...are you kidding??
