from young, i am under my parental influence to be praying to "guan yin" and more to buddism side of beliefs...
so i have been going to temples since young,
they didnt force me, in fact, they asked me "u believe anot?, if u believe, i bring u there"...
so i just followed
so today went to sorta "return" the blessing from the gods for my laos trip..
this prayer is like there is someone to "speak" on ur behalf to the god...
so u will kneel beside the person, and the person will start to say a long script of words...
we saw this indian woman, waiting her turn for prayer..
but the fact is...the person is speaking in cantonese...
weird isnt it?...i am not being racist or anything...
jus abit curious why she would come to know about this thing...and why she didnt continue believing in indian's god?..
perhaps she followed her husband and converted?...
i tink is because of this singapore "mixed-culture", and created this "cross-culture" thing...haha...
another thing is...the person is speaking in cantonese...
could she understand?? in between those cantonese words, the person spoke "husband" and her name...
funny eh...
if a free-thinker converted to be a chirstian or buddism..or start to believe a new religion,
i find it quite okay and easy...
but if from young, u believed a god, and u converted, isnt it harder?...
how much courage u have to take to sorta "betray" ur god and believe strongly in another?
religion is a very individual and subjective thing..
some may believe religion blindly, some doesnt care...
but in all, u believe in what u want to believe...

from the time we meet up about 9.30am?...
there never has been a moment of long slience...till 10pm at night?...haha~

coz using her laptop to log in got error...haha!

watching korean dramas...
korean variety shows...
played with the colour contact lenses pictures..haha!
went gek poh to eat..
come back...cont'd chit chat and watch shows...
den go jurong point eat long john...till 10 pm..
i am waiting for our next meet up~ hehe =D
hope our friendship wont die down after poly....precious friends...
